Jadrolinija passenger boat

International Ferries to Pula

Pula is linked to Venice, Italy by passenger ferry (catamaran) but unfortunately there are only ferries in the height of the summer season--from June through August. Ferries are only a few times a week. The trip is fast (from 2 1/2 to 4 hours depending on whether it's non-stop) and reliable but it's essential to book it in advance. The ferry harbour in Pula is just steps from the historic town centre. See more on passenger ferries from Italy to Croatia.

Domestic Ferries to Pula

The Croatian ferry company, LNP, runs a passenger ferry twice a week each July and August that connects Pula with Mali Losinj and Zadar. Although the ferry takes almost five hours from Pula to Zadar, going by road isn't much quicker and going by sea is obviously more scenic.
