Dalmatian Itinerary

Duration: Two weeks
Start: Split
Finish: Dubrovnik
Why: Nature, culture, activities and cultural highlights.

• Start in Split. Spend two nights. Visit Diocletian's Palace and Split's architectural museums. Take a day trip to visit the roman ruins at Salona and the unique architecture of Trogir.
• Take a local ferry to Supetar on Brac Island and then drive or take a bus to Bol. Stay one night, enjoying Zlatni Rat beach on Bol.
• Take the car ferry from Sumartin on Brac Island to Makarska. Stay two nights, visiting Brela Beach and Baska Voda
• Drive to Hvar Island via the car ferry from Drvenik to Sucaraj. Go to Hvar Town and stay three nights, visiting the Old Town, the Pakleni Islands, Jelsa and enjoying the nightlife. Perhaps arrange a trek or cycling tour?
• Go to Korcula Island by taking the car ferry from Stari Grad to Vela Luka. Stay in Korcula Town three nights, visiting the Old Town, Badija Island and relaxing on the beach at Lumbarda or Orebic. Perhaps rent a sailboat, take a day cruise or rent a scooter?
• Take a bus or drive to Dubrovnik via the Peljesac Peninsula. Stay in Dubrovnik three nights, visiting Mljet or the Elaphiti Islands or arranging for an excursion through the region.
