Saturdays, III voyage from Split and from Stari Grad – cars have priority in loading.

** Cargo vehicles have priority in loading.

The two-hour long Split-Stari Grad car ferry is the main link between Split and Hvar Island and as such can be quite crowded in the summer. Passengers should have no trouble boarding, but those with vehicles should reserve at least a day in advance during the popular summer season. If you get squeezed out, drive down the coast to Drvenik and take the Drvenik-Sucuraj ferry. You'll have to drive across Hvar Island to reach Hvar Town after you arrive but it's a scenic ride.

Coastal Ferry Booking Now Open
Although the coastal ferry schedule has been available for a while, it was awaiting government “confirmation” to make it official.  This happens every year and confirmation never comes before mid-May. So, if you’ve been waiting to book passage for your summer trip, your wait is over. Notice that the ferry runs only twice a week [...]more info

I confirmed with Azzurraline that they are officially out of the running this year. Of [...]more info
