Plat: nothing but beach

Plat is the place to come for a lazy seaside holiday, far away in spirit if not distance from busy Dubrovnik. Part of the Dubrovnik Riviera, peaceful Plat is nothing more than a little hamlet on the sea. Forget about nightlife! Yet during the day a seaside promenade stretches along a lovely, pebbly cove--perfect for a swim.

Getting to Plat

If you have a car, Dubrovnik is only a 15-minute drive away; Cavtat is even closer. Otherwise you can take one of the many frequent buses to Dubrovnik as Plat is on Dubrovnik's local bus line.
